Bartlett Engineering & Surveying Sponsors NC State University Senior Design Project at Whirligig Park

Engineering Students from North Carolina State University's Electrical Engineering Program are designing monitoring devices for Whirligigs in Downtown Wilson. The design team hopes to monitor changes in the Whirligigs as the new Wilson Warbirds stadium is built adjacent the Whirligig Park.

“We are witnesses of the birthing of a new whirligig technology,” said Joe Justice, one of the three conservationists who met with the students.

Bartlett Engineering & Surveying employee David Via is one of the project mentors and a VSWP Board Member.
