David Via, PE visited the Wilson Academy of Applied Technology on Monday, February 17th for a Lunch & Learn with students interested in the field of engineering.

Through an innovative curriculum, they dive into fields like engineering, construction, and technology, gaining practical knowledge to prepare them for real-world careers. Recently, these students had the opportunity to participate in a special “Lunch and Learn” event that provided them with valuable insights into the world of civil engineering.
During the presentation, Via shared information about various aspects of civil engineering, giving students a deeper understanding of this dynamic field. They discussed different types of civil engineering, including structural, environmental, and transportation engineering, each playing a vital role in developing the infrastructure that supports daily life.
Via also outlined the services Bartlett Engineering & Surveying, PC offers, from land surveying to managing and designing civil engineering projects.
